XIALI CALENDAR

With the Tonda PF Xiali Calendar, Parmigiani Fleurier presents a world premiere featuring a Chinese complete calendar. The Chinese Calendar is complex as it combines elements of both a solar and a lunar calendar, which are calculated separately and then synchronized. The 42 mm stainless steel case houses the imperial red dial with Grain d'Orge guilloché finishing and 18ct gold rhodium-plated indices and skeleton delta-shaped hands. The subdial at twelve o'clock shows in three levels the name of the year, the animal, and the element. The month number, with an additional month when applicable, is displayed at 9 o'clock, the day number at 3 o'clock, and a moon phase indication completes the dial at 6 o'clock. The transparent case back reveals the sophisticated mechanism in the new movement Calibre PF008. A polished and satin-finished stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp completes the timepiece.
