Mother's Day with Gübelin
Terms & Conditions
1. General
The "Mother’s Day" promotion (hereinafter "Promotion") is organized by Gübelin AG, Maihofstrasse 102, 6006 Lucerne in cooperation with Gübelin Academy, Maihofstrasse 102, 6006 Lucerne. By using the promotion offer, the participants agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. Promotion offer
As part of the promotion, Gübelin Jewellery offers one gift certificate valid for two persons to participate in a Gübelin Academy introduction course into the world of coloured gemstones, with the purchase of every jewel of the “Splendid Feather” line. The jewel must be purchased within the promotion period in your Gübelin boutique, online on www.gubelin.com or in our Hong Kong Salon.
The gift certificate includes a welcome drink and the participation in a 2-3-hour introduction course called “Coloured Gemstones – Scratching the Surface” worth 500 CHF, held by the Gübelin Academy for the buyer and their chosen plus one. Participants in the “Mother’s Day” campaign will be contacted by the Gübelin Academy about available course date.
Courses will take place in between 30th July 2020 and 30th June 2021, in your Gübelin boutique. Gift certificates of the “Mother’s Day” campaign are valid until 30th June 2021.
The gift certificate cannot be paid in cash, credited to a credit card, exchanged or refunded. The gift certificates are not cumulative and cannot be combined with other promotions or vouchers.
3. Promotion period
The promotion period lasts from 15th April, 2020 until May 20th, 2020. In order to participate in the promotion, the purchase of the jewel from the “Splendid Feather” line must take place within this period. The purchase date according to the sales receipt applies.
4. Eligibility
Eligible for participation are all natural persons, irrespective of their place of residence, from a minimum age of 18, who have acquired a product from the Splendid Feather line pursuant to Section 2 above during the promotion period. Each participant may only participate once in the promotion. Multiple participation is not permitted.
5. Exclusion from the promotion
Employees of the Gübelin Group and their immediate family members (spouse, children, siblings and parents) are excluded from participation. Gübelin AG reserves the right to declare incomplete participations or participations that do not comply with these conditions of participation, invalid. Also excluded are persons who use unauthorized aids or otherwise obtain advantages through manipulation.
In this case, promotional vouchers can also be subsequently revoked and reclaimed. In the case of a return of the product (reversal of the purchase contract), the participant is retrospectively excluded from the promotion and any existing gift certificate related to the purchase will be subsequently cancelled.
6. Premature termination and modification of the promotion
Gübelin AG reserves the right to discontinue or terminate the promotion at any time without prior notice and without stating any reasons. Gübelin AG makes use of this option in particular if the proper implementation of the promotion can no longer be guaranteed. These conditions of participation can be changed at any time by Gübelin AG without notice.
7. Privacy and confidentiality
By participating in the promotion, the participants agree that Gübelin AG shares their personal data (invoice of the purchased product for the purpose of verification, title, first and last name, phone number, address and email address) with the Gübelin Academy in order to contact them. This data is processed and stored by the Gübelin Academy.
8. Liability
Claims for damages against Gübelin AG in connection with the promotion campaign are excluded, unless Gübelin AG has acted deliberately or through gross negligence.
9. Other
Jurisdiction is the seat of Gübelin AG. All disputes in connection with this promotion are subject to Swiss law exclusively under exclusion of the law of conflicts. The legal process is excluded. The nullity or invalidity of individual conditions of participation does not result in the nullity or invalidity of the remaining provisions.
The invalid or ineffective provisions shall be replaced by a valid and effective condition, which comes as close as possible to the intended original. In the same way, a clear contract gap should be dealt with.
